Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Find Your Kind ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services, including the purchase and redemption of session vouchers. By using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Our Services
Find Your Kind offers non-medical, in-home support services through pre-purchased support vouchers. Each voucher entitles the recipient to two hours of practical help from a member of our background-checked team ("Find Your Kind Crew").Services include, but are not limited to:Cleaning and tidyingLaundry Basic meal prep (with provided ingredients)Home organisationGardening (with client-supplied tools)Dog walking, dog behaviour will be assessed in person for health and safety of our staff and your local community. If the dog is deemed unsafe we will not be able to conduct the service.Please note:Services do not include medical care, home repair, or professional childcare outside of the session address. If you child has additional needs, or intolerance this needs to be raised prior to the session commencement.Crew members will require basic supplies to be present on site. Inclusive of cleaning and gardening equipment where required.
2. Safety and Conduct
We are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for both clients and crew members.
2.1. Respectful Behaviour Required
We have zero tolerance for:
- Sexual advances or inappropriate behaviour
- Discriminatory language or conduct
- Aggressive, threatening, or unsafe environments
2.2. Health and Safety First
The safety of our clients and our Crew is our top priority. If a Crew member feels unsafe or the environment presents health risks (e.g., hazardous materials, unsafe pets, violence), they are authorised to leave the premises. No refund will be issued in such cases.
2.3. Task Refusal Rights
Crew members may respectfully decline tasks that fall outside the scope of their role or compromise their personal safety, including:
- Lifting heavy objects which leaves them susceptible to injury
- Working with chemicals that are deemed unsafe
- Entering areas deemed unsafe or unsanitary this includes exposure to sharps.
3. Child Supervision Policy
While our Crew members can help with children. Children will remain within the property throughout the session. A parent or legal guardian must remain on-site at all times when children are present.Find Your Kind assumes no legal responsibility for the supervision, care, or safety of children.Our maximum recommended support ratio is 3 children to 1 Crew member, under the condition that a guardian is present and overseeing.
4. Payment and Vouchers
4.1. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through our website with Stripe function. Support vouchers must be paid for in full at the time of purchase and can not be refunded.
4.2. Crew Members Do Not Handle Money
For your security and theirs, Find Your Kind Crew members are not authorised to accept payment, tips, or any form of compensation directly. All transactions must go through our website.
4.3. Voucher Use and Validity
Minimum service time per session is 2 hour. Vouchers are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase.Vouchers are non-refundable.Services must be booked online through the www.Findyourkind.com and no other platform.
5. Service Areas
Our service area is dependent on contractor availability and can be checked within the search function on our website prior to purchasing your voucher. For locations not listed within the search function, please contact us directly. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
6. Booking and Cancellations
6.1. Rescheduling
You may reschedule a booking up to 48 hours in advance. This enables us to contact our contractors. Shorter-notice cancellations will forfeit the voucher.
6.2. Missed Appointments
If no one is home during the scheduled service arrival time, the recipient will have a 15 minute grace period. If the recipient isn’t available, the shift will be marked as fulfilled. We will provide proof of call attempts of contact over phone with call registry screen shot by the Find Your Kind crew Team member in attendance and geographical pin of attendance.
7. Liability and Limitations
We are not liable for:Loss, damage, or theft of personal propertyInjuries caused by unsafe environments or unapproved tasksServices not rendered due to force or circumstances
beyond our control
8. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. All personal data is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy], including information provided during booking, voucher purchases, and feedback. If your data is breached we will provide confirmation as per the policy terms.
9. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and are effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
